House Rules & Property Policy

  • Children over 12 years old are welcome.

  • No pets are allowed on the property.

  • Please respect other guests at all times — especially regarding noise and visitors.

  • No parties or loud music are permitted.


Deposits & Payments

  • A deposit is required at the time of booking. For Non-Refundable bookings, full payment is due immediately.

  • Deposits can be paid by credit card (Visa/Mastercard only) or by international transfer.

  • Booking confirmation will be issued upon receipt of payment.

  • The balance is due 45 days before arrival.


Cancellation Policy

  • 45+ days prior to arrival: No cancellation fee.

  • 15–44 days prior: 50% of total booking charged.

  • 7–14 days prior: 75% charged.

  • 6 days or less / No-Show: 100% non-refundable.

  • All cancellations will be confirmed in writing.

Group Bookings

(multiple villas / full-property):
Group bookings follow the same cancellation policy as individual bookings. If you intend to reserve more than one villa or the entire property, please contact us before confirming so we can assist with availability, logistics, and any child-policy considerations.


Travel Insurance

Crystal Blue Lagoon Villas strongly encourages all guests to obtain travel insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances, including illness, travel delays, or other unexpected issues.


Arrival Information

  • There is no reception or office onsite.

  • While we do not operate a reception, we can accommodate guests before or after standard check-in/check-out times with the following arrangements:

     

Short Waits (Early Check-In or Late Check-Out Not Available):
Guests with a short wait before check-in or after check-out are welcome to relax by the pool area or leave luggage in the villa while we finish preparing the room.

Long Waits (Before or After Stay):
We can securely store luggage at our nearby Te Vara Nui office and recommend local cafés, activities, and tours.
For those needing rest before a flight, we can also suggest a nearby hotel close to the airport that offers day-use facilities (for a fee).


Transfers

We offer the following transfer options to/from Rarotonga International Airport:

  • VIP Transfer – $75.00 per person each way* (minimum 2 guests; single tariff $100 one way) – includes chilled water, a bottle of bubbles, and a fresh flower ‘Ei on arrival.

  • Seat in Coach – $40.00 per person each way.

  • Taxi Service – We can arrange on your behalf.
    *Prices are subject to change.
    *All after-hours arrivals require transfers booked with our preferred provider to ensure villa access.


Important Notice & Guest Disclaimer

By booking and staying at Crystal Blue Lagoon Villas, guests agree to the following:

  1. Use of Facilities
    All facilities are used entirely at guests’ own risk. This includes the swimming pool, spa/jacuzzi, walkways, stairs, balconies, decks, rocks, and other natural features throughout the property.

  2. Food & Beverage Notice
    While every effort is made to prepare meals and refreshments with care, Crystal Blue Lagoon Ltd cannot accept responsibility for any sensitivities, intolerances, or illnesses that may arise from food or beverage consumption.

  3. Health, Safety & Pool/Jacuzzi Use
    Please take care when moving around the property, particularly in wet or low-light conditions.
    The swimming pool and spa/jacuzzi are unsupervised and used entirely at guests’ own risk.
    Children must be supervised at all times, especially near water features, balconies, and elevated areas.

  4. Kayaks & Lagoon Activities
    Kayaks are provided for guest enjoyment and are used at your own risk.
    Guests are responsible for assessing weather conditions, tides, and their own swimming ability before entering the lagoon.
    Life jackets are available and strongly recommended.
    Crystal Blue Lagoon Ltd is not liable for injury, loss, or damage arising from use of kayaks or any lagoon-based activities.

  5. Transport & Transfers
    Where Crystal Blue Lagoon Ltd arranges or recommends transport services, these may be operated by third-party providers.
    While care is taken to select reputable partners, Crystal Blue Lagoon Ltd is not responsible for any injury, loss, delay, or inconvenience during transport to or from the property.
    Guests participate in transfers at their own risk.

  6. Third-Party Recommendations
    We may assist with bookings for tours, restaurants, or other activities operated by independent providers.
    While we aim to recommend trusted services, Crystal Blue Lagoon Ltd cannot be held responsible for the performance, conduct, or safety standards of third parties.
    Participation is at guests’ own discretion and risk.

  7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
    All bookings, stays, and activities are governed by the laws of the Cook Islands.
    Any dispute or claim arising from your visit shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Cook Islands Courts.
